WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT!
TWO VENUES - GYMNASIUM & AUDITORIUM
To add to the excitement of Spectacular! the competition will be held in two locations; the gymnasium and the auditorium.
Jr. High and High School Unisex Groups will be competing in the auditorium.
High School Prep and Mixed Groups will be competing in the gymnasium.
Awards and all finalist performances will be held in the gymnasium.
LOWEST SCORE DROPPED
This year each venue will have a panel of four (4) judges, watching and commenting, on your show. Each judge will enter their scores for your performance. To keep everyone honest, the lowest score by the judges is thrown out and the remaining three scores will be averaged together for a combined final score.
FINALS SCORING
Those top groups making it to finals will have the excitement of performing in front of a panel of eight (8) judges. Four (4) that have already seen your show and four (4) that will be watching it for the first time. Scoring will be the same as the Preliminary rounds, however we will drop the lowest and highest scores in finals. The remaining six (6) scores will be averaged together for a combined final score getting your team to Grand Champion.
